Dallas

Once you fly into this airport, you can visit all the different sites in the area.  Besides the Dallas Stadium, you could go to the Dallas Arts District and see the Dallas Museum of Art or Perot Museum of Nature and Science where they have a children’s museum.  If Art isn’t your thing, you could go to Six Flags.  Six Flags is a theme park in Arlington that has rides and shows.  Other professional sports teams are Texas Rangers that play major league baseball, and Dallas Mavericks that are a professional basketball team.  They even have National Hockey League with the Dallas Stars.
If you don’t get enough of the people at these busy entertainment facilities, you can people watch.  In 1980 there was about 14,229,191 people in Texas.  Now it is almost 27 million. Texas has people from many different cultures.  For many centuries only Indians lived in Texas.  In 1541 the Spanish explorers came to Texas.  The Spanish married the Indians and we have what is now called Mestizos.  There are people from all over now including Irish, Scandinavian, Czechs, and poles.
The things to see and do is endless in Texas.  Whether it is watching a professional sports team, heading to a museum or theme park, or just watching the different nationalities of people, you will love to visit there.

Dallas is the third largest city in the USA . It is located in north central Texas. John Neely Bryan founded Dallas in 1841. The population started to grow when they built railroads. The cites success still depends on transportation. They have one of the busiest airport in the world.
